INMATE SERVICES

William Marshall (paralegal) will provide an incarcerated individual through their family with access to the most current state and federal statues and rules as well as up to date court decisions from all levels of both state and federal courts.

Due to the majority of convictions and/or sentences, which occur as result of ineffective defense counsel, it has become necessary for the pre and post trial defendant to know not only of his defenses but the duties of counsel in the course of representing their client.

William Marshall can provide summaries as well as full text of caselaw under specific topics on all issues regarding pre-trial as well as post-trial to include but not limited to matters involving from arrest to conditions of confinement.

Both the states and federal governments have failed to allocate sufficient funds to provide inmates with needed law material in order to have adequate access to the same legal research materials as the government or even a judge would have. As an inmate you know this, because the legal research material available to you in your state or federal correctional facility law library is at a minimum and is probably a few years out of date. For inmates concerned about their own cases, it is important to be informed on legal rulings that may directly impact upon their rights. The legal research services of William Marshall was created to allow inmates to access the most current legal cases available to include court decisions issued on same day they are rendered. Legal research services are based at $20 hourly plus twenty cents per page, which includes copying and shipping. In order to order such service, an initial advance deposit account must be established in the amount of $200. Unless payment is made through a check issued by correctional authorities, payment must be in the form of a U. S. Postal Service money order payable to William Marshall.

William Marshall, is noted  for being on the cutting edge on researching and assisting inmate's issues to secure relief for their appeal and post conviction remedies. With today's legal cost's to pursue a post-conviction solution, it's difficult for the average incarcerated individual and their families to handle that high cost for that assistance, thus William Marshall provides such service to reduce these costs. William Marshall can provide the needed research material to assist in securing relief in the courts. Please address any correspondence to the following address listed below. It is strongly encourage that you have a family member or supporting individual contact William Marshall directly for more information concerning legal research and other services.
